Man Sets Boyfriend On Fire After Discovering He Password Protected His Phone
Garden Village, CA. Authorities allege that a California man set his sleeping boyfriend on fire after discovering his phone had a passcode.
Garden Village Police Chief Douglas Campers says 22-year-old Miloh Ali and the man argued early Sunday, and after he fell asleep, he doused him with gasoline and set him ablaze.
Next door neighbors heard the man's screams and called police. Campers says Ali then left the home and fled to his parents house who lived a few blocks away.
When asked why he had set his partner on fire he said he thought his boyfriend was hiding something because his phone never had a passcode on it prior.
Ali was charged with attempted homicide and arson. Court records don't list an attorney for him, and a listed phone number couldn't be found as of the writing of this article.
Campers says the man's injuries aren't life-threatening.
