Two TSA officers at BWI have tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to officials, the officers are at home resting. They last worked at the airport more than two weeks ago.
A spokesperson with the Transportation Security Administration released a statement saying: "TSA has created a website, www.tsa.gov/coronavirus, that lists airports, locations and shifts where our screening officers have tested positive for the virus within the past 14 days.
This information is being posted so we can be transparent with the traveling public in case they think they may have come in contact with an officer during that 14-day window. After 14 days from the last time an officer worked at the airport, an individual is removed from the tracker because they no longer pose a threat to the traveling public.
The two BWI officers last worked at the airport more than 14 days ago, so they are not listed on the map."
No other information was released.
