Man Hospitalized After Being Beaten By His Sister and Brother in Law For Being Gay

A young man has posted an emotional Facebook post after allegedly being attacked by his sister for being gay.

Diogo Camargo, 22, from Brazil, took a shocking selfie of his head bleeding profusely and posted it on social media.

He said he was attacked by his sister and brother-in-law.

‘Do you also have an abusive and homophobic sister?’ he wrote. ‘I hope not.

Camargo wrote his relationship, which he had been in for at least a year, had broken down.

Facts Not Adding Up As Missing Atlanta Man Reveals He Was Fleeing His Abusive Partner

An Atlanta man feared missing or dead has revealed he fled the country following a domestic dispute with his partner a prominent attorney in Atlanta. 

According to the Atlanta Police Department, Francis Ellis, 32 was reported missing after he was last seen around 6:30 p.m. April 22 in Southwest Atlanta at the residence of his former partner attorney Kwame Thompson.

However, on Friday, an attorney for Ellis contacted police to confirm he isn't actually missing. That representative was unaware how the report came to be.

Police Searching For Man Who Assaulted Three Gay Men In Alleged Hate Crime

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Three Orange County men have filed a lawsuit against the owner of the Balboa Inn claiming a hate crime took place when they were booted from the establishment earlier this month, Patch has learned.

On Friday the 13th at a bar on Main Street in Newport Beach, the three men went inside a restaurant for dinner. A video has emerged showing two of the men being forcibly removed from the restaurant.

Teacher Accused Of Having A Relationship With 15 Year Old Male Student

CANARSIE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A teacher in Brooklyn has been charged with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student.

According to police, 34-year-old Andre Braddy had sexual encounters with the male student in the school bathroom for at least a month.

Braddy was an 8th grade mathematics and advanced algebra teacher at the Lenox Academy, PS 235 in Canarsie since September 2015.

Authorities say the teen alerted his parents to the encounters with the teacher and the parents called police, which led to the arrest.

Gay Man Beaten Unconscious With Bike Chain In Apparent Hate Crime

BRADLEY Skinner has been abused for being gay all his life, but when a stranger threw a slur his way during a night out at Mackay's Northern Beaches, he couldn't have expected he would be beaten unconscious with a bicycle chain.

Mr Skinner was having dinner with his sister Amanda and a friend at the Rosewood Dr Domino's in Rural View.

"This guy walked past, and we were all laughing and having a good time about to go home," he said.

"And he called me a faggot.

High School Athlete Killed By Ex Boyfriend After Breakup

The 16-year-old suspect accused of murdering California high school football player Jeremy Sanchez had allegedly been involved in a romantic relationship with him and was angry that Jeremy wanted to break up, police said.

Lt. John Corina of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to PEOPLE Sanchez identified as bisexual, and that he and the boy who allegedly killed him had been romantically involved.

Sanchez was reported missing after he didn’t show up to school on Wednesday.

Uber Eats Driver Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Mentally Disabled Male Passenger

ATLANTA - Police say they've caught an Uber Eats driver who sexually assaulted a mentally disabled man.

Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez first broke this story three weeks ago when Channel 2 Action News learned about the airport arrest that brought the suspect to justice.

The alleged incident happened March 25 at No Mas Cantina on Walker Street. 

The victim's father says his 21-year-old son has autism and has the mental capacity of a 14-year-old. He asked us not to reveal his identity for this report.

Gay Teacher Quits, Moves Out Of Town After Receiving Death Threats

A high school teacher from a small town in Kansas posted to Facebook this week three threatening letters he received after he came out as gay last year.

"Queers will burn and so will you," said one letter, signed "a concerned patron."

Because of the letters and other harassment he says he received for being gay, Michael Hill quit his job as visual arts and theater teacher at Nemaha Central High School in Seneca, a town of about 2,000 residents in northeast Kansas.

An investigation is underway after a Delaware man accused members of a University of Delaware fraternity of calling him a homophobic slur, attacking him and breaking his leg during an off-campus day party.

Rancel Valdez told NBC10 he was attending a party hosted by a University of Delaware frat Friday. Valdez said he was waiting for a friend to come out of the bathroom when a frat brother walked up to him and told him to leave.

Man Sentenced To Life In Prison After Deliberately Infecting Five Men With HIV

A man who deliberately tried to infect 10 men with HIV was told by one of his victims: “I would rather he had murdered me than left me to live my life like this” as he was given a life sentence on Wednesday. Daryll Rowe, a 27-year-old hairdresser from Brighton, showed no emotion as he was told that he must serve at least 12 years for the “determined, hateful campaign of sly violence” during a sentencing hearing at the city’s crown court.
