Father Believes Body Found In Backyard Is His Missing Gay Son

When 31-year-old Zach Kennedy went missing on Oct. 22, his boyfriend didn’t think too much of it at first, according to the man’s family.

It wasn’t unusual for the Long Beach resident to miss an occasional appointment or skip out on dinner plans without warning.

“He was a very free spirit,” said Zach Kennedy’s father, Jeff.

But after about five days, concern set in.

Zach’s boyfriend went to the police and kept the family updated.

Man Pleads Guilty To Four More Counts Of Deliberately Infecting Men With HIV

A man who was given a life sentence last month in England for deliberately infecting five men with HIV has pleaded guilty to four more charges in a separate trial in Scotland.

Daryll Rowe, a 27-year-old hairdresser, admitted having sex with four men knowing he was HIV-positive. 
One of the men contracted the virus.

Rowe was sentenced to eight years in prison and placed on the sex offenders register for life at Edinburgh’s High Court.

In April, Rowe was jailed for life for attempting to infect 10 men, of which five went on to become HIV positive.

Man and His Boyfriend Charged With Sexual Assault After Touching Man In Gay Club

A man is facing a sexual assault charge after he allegedly groped another man at a Las Vegas gay bar.

Metropolitan Police Department officers responded on Thursday to reports of a sexual assault at Charlie’s, a country-themed gay bar at 5012 S. Arville St.

When officers arrived, a bouncer and the alleged victim pointed out 32-year-old Justin Bogaerts inside the bar, according to his arrest report.

Via Newsone: Ramon Smith and Jarron Moreland, both 21, are two men who were lynched in 2018. On April 18,  police found the dismembered bodies of the young men in a pond outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three white men and one white woman have been arrested for the crime.

According to, “Police arrested 22-year-old Kevin Garcia-Boettler, 43-year-old Johnny Shane Barker and the 16-year-old brother of Garcia-Boettler, who police say is the suspected shooter. Their mother, Crystal Rachelle Boettler, 40, has also been charged with accessory after the fact.”

Colorado Trans woman Sues After Being Raped In Men's Prison

A transgender inmate who was raped at a men’s prison in Colorado is suing over her ordeal.

Lindsay Saunders-Velez, 20, has filed a lawsuit against Colorado’s corrections agency, reports TIME, alleging that she was raped shortly after a federal judge denied her request to block the prison from keeping her in a disciplinary unit, according to court records and the woman’s attorney, Paula Greisen. 

She entered the prison system in May 2017 after she was sentenced to three years for violating the terms of a plea agreement on a felony menacing charge.

Texas Man Gets 20 Years for Using Grindr to Target Gay Victims

A man who participated in four home invasions last year in which gay men were tied up and assaulted was sentenced Monday to 20 years in federal prison.

Anthony Shelton, who was 19 at the time of his indictment last year, is the third Frisco man to be sentenced for the federal hate crime. A fourth is awaiting trial.

They are accused of using Grindr, a social media dating platform for gay men, to arrange to meet victims in January and February 2017 in homes in Plano, Frisco and Aubrey, federal prosecutors say. Authorities reported four home invasions in those cities.

Texas Man Uses "Gay Panic" Defense And Avoids Murder Charge After Killing Neighbor

A Texas man avoided murder and manslaughter convictions after his attorney cited a defense often called “gay panic” as the reason he killed a neighbor.

James Miller of Austin was found guilty Tuesday of criminally negligent homicide in the 2015 death of Daniel Spencer, local NBC affiliate KXAN reports. He was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years probation and six months in jail. Miller also must complete 100 hours of community service, pay $11,000 in restitution to Spencer’s family and use an alcohol monitoring device for at least a year.

Man Hospitalized After Being Beaten By His Sister and Brother in Law For Being Gay

A young man has posted an emotional Facebook post after allegedly being attacked by his sister for being gay.

Diogo Camargo, 22, from Brazil, took a shocking selfie of his head bleeding profusely and posted it on social media.

He said he was attacked by his sister and brother-in-law.

‘Do you also have an abusive and homophobic sister?’ he wrote. ‘I hope not.

Camargo wrote his relationship, which he had been in for at least a year, had broken down.
