Gay Latin Music Star Kevin Fret, 24, Shot and Killed in Puerto Rico

Latin musician Kevin Fret has died.

The singer and rapper, who dubbed himself the first openly gay Latin trap artist, according to Billboard, was fatally shot and killed in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico Thursday morning. He was 24 years old.

The “Soy Asi” singer was riding his motorcycle at around 5:30 a.m. when he was attacked. He later died at the Medical Center of Río Piedras, El Nuevo Dia reported.

His death remains under investigation.

Marvel's X-Men Introduces First Drag Queen Mutant "Shade"

Marvel Comics, the home to such blockbuster heroes as Black Panther, Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man (to name but a few), has just unveiled its first ever mutant X-Men drag queen superhero — Shade. 

Created by out Iceman writer Sina Grace and artist Nathan Stockman, Shade sashayed into comic book history in last month’s Iceman number four (on stands now). Despite Shade having an all-too-brief one panel appearance in the comic, the X-Men fandom has already excitedly embraced the character. Fan art celebrating the debut of Shade has been pouring in via Grace’s twitter.  

Georgia Authorities Open Investigation Into R Kelly Following "Surviving R Kelly" Docuseries

R. Kelly is being criminally investigated in Georgia -- and it's all because of Lifetime's docuseries ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the case tell us the Fulton County District Attorney's Office has opened an investigation into allegations made against the singer in "Surviving R. Kelly." We're told the probe was launched over the past few days as a direct result of what 'Surviving' depicted. 

Kevin Hart Attempts Apology To LGBTQ Community and Fails Again

Via NBC: Kevin Hart apologized again Monday for past homophobic tweets and jokes, which prompted him to step down as host of the Oscars, and said it would be the last time he addressed the controversy.

On his SirusXM podcast, "Straight from the Hart," the comedian also implied that he's not interested in hosting the awards show. Last week, he told Ellen DeGeneres, who faced backlash for defending him, that he was considering whether or not to take the job back.

The two Marvel stars were having fun at InStyle‘s Golden Globes after-party, in a ‘party elevator’ video skit with co-star Michael B. Jordan.

The clip, shared on social media, shows Gurira waiting for an elevator, before the doors open to reveal Nyong’o and Jordan kissing.

Nyong’o promptly dismisses Jordan, and begins to make out with Gurira instead.

R Kelly's Former Tour Manager Says Kelly Once Offered Him Sex

R. Kelly's history as a pedo and a creep are on full display , thanks to the documentary series Surviving R. Kelly, which debuted on Thursday.

So far it's confirmed what we all know: Kells likes to groom and then sleep with young girls.

According to his former tour manager Demetrius Smith, Kelly may have swung both ways.

In an interview with The Domenick Nati Show, Smith recalled a time in the early 90s when the two of them enjoyed some female groupies. After the ladies left, Kelly came into Smith's hotel room buck naked and said: "Do you want some of this?"

Comedian Stacey Harkey Comes Out As Gay

A Mormon comedy star has risked everything by coming out as gay.

Stacey Harkey, a 30-year-old living in Provo, Utah, is well known for being a star of the sketch comedy group Studio C.

The group is essentially a family-friendly conservative Mormon version of Saturday Night Live.

Former Youtuber Ben Hunte Named BBC News First LGBT Correspondent

He currently presents What's New? - the BBC's first TV programme and digital service for children in Africa, and will begin his new role in January.

Hunte, who has also presented LGBT-themed programmes on BBC Radio, said the job was "a dream come true".

He added: "I'm delighted... and I am looking forward to finding and telling stories from the LGBT community."

Hunte will report on stories about sexuality and gender, providing insight and analysis on LGBT issues.

A growing list of celebs are defending Kevin Hart after the comic stepped down from the Oscars — and so is his kids’ tutor.

Hart’s longtime friend and an academic adviser to his kids, Merle Soden, has come to Hart’s defense as a “proud member of the LGBTQ community.”

“I have known Kevin Hart for almost 10 years and have been in his kids’ life, taught them to read and write . . . I am a proud member of the LGBTQ Community and I stand up for Kevin Hart,” Soden posted.
