Mexican Gay Men's Chorus Detained By Homeland Security

On Sunday morning a group of men traveling from Mexico City to Los Angeles were held up temporarily by the Department of Homeland Security as they moved through customs and immigration at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport.

The problem? An officer found sheet music in their luggage.

The travelers are members of the Coro Gay Ciudad de México (Gay Men’s Chorus of Mexico City). In L.A. as guests of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, the group’s itinerary for this week is jam-packed with rehearsals, sightseeing and a much-anticipated trip to Disneyland.

A Netflix movie source said: “Bruno says it will probably be the most nerve-racking move of his career if it happens.

“Prince was one of his idols so to be asked to take on a hefty role like that especially as a debut acting move is full-on.

Announced this afternoon by FX, the stylish period drama, “Pose,” has been renewed for a second season. Co-created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals, the 1980s-set series has looked to juxtapose looks at the several segments of life and society in New York at the time: the rise of the Trump-era luxury universe, the downtown social and literary scene and the ball culture world.
