Lena Waithe Explains Why She Cut Her Hair

Via Vanity Fair: 

Lena Waithe didn’t cut her hair on a whim.

“I’ve gotten gayer, guys,” the Emmy award winner joked on the red carpet for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual grants banquet Thursday.

The “Master of None” star revealed that she’d been thinking about cutting it for a while, but felt restricted by apprehension of how others would perceive her.

A new underwear brand has decided to feature men of all shapes and sizes in its debut marketing campaign.

Surge, based in the UK, launched last week.

One of the company’s directors is US-born gay model and reality TV star, Austin Armacost.

Armacost, with his gym-toned physique and pumped pecs, is not an unusual choice to represent an underwear brand. However, Surge has tried to break with the norm in its other choices of model.
