Texas Man Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Neighbor’s Dog

A man who ran from police after he allegedly sexually assaulted a neighbor's dog was arrested early Saturday morning on a charge of bestiality, Bellmead police Lt. Kory Martin said.

Philip Samuel Mercon, 27, was arrested after police were called to 2000 block of Montrose Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. A witness told officers they saw Mercon sexually abusing a dog in the neighbor's backyard, Martin said.

Suspected poachers sneaked onto a South African game reserve to hunt rhinos, but a pride of lions found them instead.

A guide at the Sibuya Game Reserve spotted what appeared to be human remains on Tuesday near the group of lions, according to reserve owner Nick Fox. It was getting too dark to search the area, so police came back the next day with the reserve's anti-poaching unit and other specialists.

The remains were strewn over an area covered with thick brush and Fox said it was impossible to know how many people were killed.

Teenager Gets USB Cord Stuck Inside His Penis

Guys have been known to do some pretty odd things to their penises (see here, here, and here). In today's story to make you cringe, a teenage boy reportedly had surgery to remove a USB cord inserted into his urethra, according to Singapore-based Strait Times.

The Heilongjiang Metropolis Channel in China reported that an unidentified 13-year-old boy cut off a USB head and inserted the cable into his penis, according to Strait Times. After first being treated at a local hospital in the country's Heilongjiang province, the patient was transferred to Harbin Children's Hospital.

Woman fired for calling police on black man wearing socks in pool

A white Memphis woman was fired from her job at an apartment development after she was recorded calling the police on a black man who was wearing socks while swimming in a pool. Trilogy Residential Management said Erica Walker, a manager at one of their properties, was "terminated immediately after we completed our investigation."

The company said Walker would "never be employed by Trilogy Residential Management, LLC or any of its properties in the future."

Drag Race queen Trixie Mattel is under fire for telling what many are calling a racist joke at a Drag Roast event.

In a resurfaced video from the Hater’s Roast a couple of months ago, the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 winner makes a joke about her dress being made of cotton.

Cotton that fellow Drag Race queen Latrice Royale picked, she jokes.

It’s a reference to black slaves in America forced into picking cotton.

After the video surfaced on social media, many began calling out the joke as racist.

Ohio mayor, husband arrested for fighting after Cincinnati Pride

A brawl between the Elmwood Place mayor and the village's maintenance supervisor, who happens to be the mayor's husband, sent them both to jail.

The two administrators, Mayor Bill Wilson and Bill Smith, are married and were both charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct, according to WLWT. 

The police chief said officers weren't able to determine the primary aggressor so they had to charge both men.

Residents said the arrests are also a black eye for the village.

Breaking News: Virginia State Police Involved In Tank Chase After Soldier Steals It Off Base

Via WTVR: Virginia State Police are in pursuit of a stolen armored personnel vehicle on Interstate 95.

CBS is reporting a soldier from Fort Pickett stole the tank and has driven it from I-85 to I-95.

State Police says at 7:55 p.m., they were notified that the vehicle, which is not equipped with a weapon, was taken from Fort Pickett.

The vehicle was then driven east on Route 460 at a maximum speed of about 40 mph, according to State Police.

The armored vehicle is headed north on I-95, near Richmond, with police in pursuit.

Alleged stalker texts man more than 60,000 times, takes bath in his home

A woman is facing a slew of charges after an online date led to threatening text messages, non-stop harassment and a nightmarish stalking situation for an Arizona man, police said.

Jacqueline Ades, 31, of Paradise Valley, was arrested Tuesday on charges of threatening, stalking and harassment.

After going on a date with a man she met online, Ades sent him more than 65,000 text messages, some of which threatened violence, AZFamily.com reports. The victim claimed Ades would send him about 500 texts per day.
