Po Todrick
According to a report from Us Weekly on Thursday, “Celebrity Big Brother” alum Todrick Hall is being sued by his landlords for $60,000 in unpaid rent. The 36-year-old agreed to pay $30,000 per month for a five-bedroom, eight-bathroom house in Sherman Oaks, California, but allegedly failed to pay for February and March, as stated in the civil complaint filed on Tuesday and obtained by the magazine.
Landlords Avi and Orna Lavian claimed they served Hall with a pay-or-quit notice on March 3 by delivering it to another occupant of the house, as per the filing. Besides the $60,000 in unpaid rent, the landlords are seeking attorney fees, forfeiture of the lease agreement, damages of $1,000 per day, and “all other relief the court deems just and reasonable,” according to Us Weekly.
In February 2021, Hall posted an 11-minute YouTube video showcasing a tour of a large home with features like a private movie theater, an infinity pool, an elevator, and a walk-in closet, among other amenities. In the video, he claimed he had purchased the house, raising questions about whether it is the same property involved in the lawsuit.
This legal trouble follows Hall’s controversial appearance on Season 3 of “Celebrity Big Brother,” where fellow houseguests Todd Bridges, Lamar Odom, and Teddi Mellencamp accused him of backstabbing them to advance in the game, just before the show’s finale in February.
