Leah Hampton and Marquis B. Wimberly had an interesting way of announcing they had a baby on the way and the internet isn't pleased.
If you're unfamiliar the hit show Handmaid's Tale takes place in a dystopian future where fertile women are subservient to wealthy men and are often raped in order to conceive children and keep the human race going. So its no wonder some people were upset with the photos.
The couple however is unbothered. They posted:
Some people have been so viscerally moved by the Handmaid’s Tale that our photoshoot has upset their sensitivities. They care so deeply and passionately about women that they have resorted to harassing a pregnant woman on Facebook.
Folks, we are UNMOVED.
